Jim and Cary’s number one goal is to give you the best portfolio review experience possible. To help make that possible, please read the following instructions.
Preparing your portfolio materials.
Your portfolio should reflect a unified theme or otherwise cohesive body of work.
Your portfolio should contain only your strongest work.
Your portfolio should be comprised of between ten and twenty photographs. You may present prints or jpgs.
If you are presenting prints:
Prints should be no smaller than 8” x 11” and no larger than 16” x 20”.
Prints should not be mounted or matted.
If you are presenting jpgs:

We will be reviewing jpgs on a MAC system. Bring your files on a CD, DVD, or MAC compatible flash drive or hard drive. (Formatted FAT 32)
Additional materials to bring to the review.
Samples of your marketing materials such as business cards, postcards, exhibition catalogs, etc.
A notepad and a pen or pencil to take notes.
Things to keep in mind.
Arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to prepare your presentation materials for review.
Remember you have 50 minutes to introduce yourself and present your work.
Be prepared to answer questions about your portfolio and individual images.
